Oradea Heritage represents an impressive collection of heritage monuments and buildings. Some restored, and many others in the process of restoration in order to unearth their initial value.
The wealth of new tourist attractions on the architectural map of Oradea, brought to life through the efforts of Oradea’s City Hall, the constructors, restorers and owners, deserves being known by the European public that aims to visit destinations of such a cultural significance in their travels.
The Foundation for the Protection of Historical Monuments in Bihor County is constituted pursuant to the provisions of O.G. (Government Ordinance) no. 26/2000, modified by O.G. no. 37/2003, as a Romanian legal person, a non-governmental organization, whose founders are the Local Council of Oradea and the Council of Bihor County.
The Board of Directors is composed of 5 members, with attributions related to the management of the Foundation’s resources and the manner in which they are used, being the coordination body of the Foundation’s current activity.
The Foundation’s executive activity is led by an executive director, LUPȘEA ANGELA, appointed by the Board of Directors, as an employee of the Foundation.
Oradea Heritage, in partnership with Banca Transilvania and with the support of Shopia.ro, have launched, for the first time, the new technologies and digital solutions aiding charitable initiatives for the restoration and protection of historical monuments.
An online platform has been developed to come to the aid of donors, which is accessible through the simple scan of a QR code. The donors can choose the amount that they wish to give in order to support the projects and endeavors of the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Monuments in Bihor County (Oradea Heritage).
The platform donations.shopia.ro has been made available to the Foundation free of charge by our partners Shopia.ro, and, in order to ensure the transparency of the donated amounts, all sums received will be accessible on the payment platform.
